Dime Drop for iPhone and iPad · Updated 10 August 2026
Email dimedropapp@protonmail.com and a person will answer. One developer makes this game, so expect a reply within two or three days rather than two or three minutes.
If something went wrong, the fastest fix comes from including your device model, your iOS version, and — for anything about a purchase — the receipt Apple emailed you.
Common questions
I bought dimes and they didn't arrive
Reopen the app while online. A purchase that was charged but not delivered is finished the next time the app can reach the App Store, and the dimes appear in your balance.
If they still haven't, email the receipt to dimedropapp@protonmail.com. Every purchase is granted exactly once and the transaction is recorded on your device, so a missing grant is something that can be checked and corrected.
How do I restore my purchases?
The dime packs are consumables — the dimes are spent, so Apple doesn't re-deliver them the way it re-delivers an unlockable. Once dimes land in your balance they're yours until you spend them, but they can't be transferred to another device or restored after a reinstall.
I got a new phone and my progress is gone
Progress lives on the device and nowhere else. Dime Drop has no account system, no server and no iCloud sync, which is why it needs nothing from you to play — and also why stars, dimes and levels don't follow you to a new phone or survive deleting the app.
Cross-device progress is the most requested thing that doesn't exist yet. If you want it, say so in an email; it's a real signal.
I'm stuck on a level
It is beatable. Every board in the game was proven solvable by a solver before it shipped, so there is a nudge that works on the level you're looking at.
Three things help: a trace shows exactly where the coin will go before you commit, a second nudge gives you one more move on a board that needs two, and a skip ends the argument. All three are bought with dimes, which you earn by playing.
How do lives work, and what happens when I run out?
Failing a Story level costs a life. You hold up to five, and one comes back every thirty minutes on its own. You can also refill the set with dimes, buy an hour of unlimited lives with dimes, or watch one rewarded video for one life.
Running out never locks you out of the game — Endless and Daily are not gated by lives, so an empty Story meter is a detour, not a wall.
Can I turn off the ads?
There is one ad in the entire game: a rewarded video offered when you have no Story lives left, and shown only if you tap to watch it. Nothing plays unasked — no banners, no interstitials — so there is nothing to turn off. Ignore it and you will never see an ad.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Story, Endless and Daily all run without a connection. The only parts that need one are buying dimes and loading the rewarded video.
Is the Daily really the same for everyone?
Yes. The day's boards are generated from the date, so every player gets the identical set, and you get one run at them. There are no retries, because a score you can reroll isn't a score.
I want a refund
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by the developer. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple Account, and choose the purchase.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the app. Everything Dime Drop stores is a single file inside the app's own container — progress, stars, dimes, settings — and iOS removes it with the app. There is no copy anywhere else, because there is nowhere else. See the privacy policy for the full picture, including what the ad SDK does.
I found a bug, or something is unreadable
Please write. Include what you were doing, what happened, and a screenshot if you have one. Accessibility problems — text size, contrast, anything that made a board hard to read or hard to hit — are treated as bugs, not requests.
